This is a photo of the inside of my kiln...after the beads are made in the torch, they must be kiln annealed, meaning the glass needs to be tempered so it is more durable. The temperture of the beads is raised to 960 and held there for about an hour.  A piece of glass will last around 80 years, whereas a bead that is annealed can last 4000 years.
We often sell beads in sets of 5's, for your jewelry making needs.
